Phase 1 - Before & After
Phase 1 - Before & After

Hello Bloomers!

There’s something magical about a space that feels light, open, and intentionally designed. When our surroundings are filled with clutter—both physical and mental—it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and distracted. It personally causes me anxiety!

Lately, I’ve been craving more peace and inspiration in my daily routine, and I’ve realized that it all starts with my environment. That’s why I’ve decided to reorganize my home studio, transforming it into a space that fuels my creativity rather than stifling it. This is Part 1 of my journey, and I want to take you along for the ride!

My home studio is more than just a place to work—it’s a space where I:

  • Wrap gifts– I love having a dedicated gift-wrapping station where I can easily grab ribbons, tags, and wrapping paper to make every present feel special.

  • Craft and create – Whether it's designing templates, making handmade gifts, or working on seasonal DIY projects, I need an organized area where my creativity can flow without distraction.

  • Store gifts for loved ones – Throughout the year, I find the perfect little gifts for family, friends, and hostess occasions. Having a designated space to store and organize these gifts makes holidays and celebrations so much easier!

Step 1 - Assess, Declutter, Organize
Step 1 - Assess, Declutter, Organize

The first step to my process was:

  • Assessing what I truly need – What brings me joy and serves my creative process? What’s just taking up space?

  • Decluttering & organize with intention – Letting go of supplies, decorations, or clutter that no longer fits my vision.  And organizing with bins and labels.

  • Creating functional zones – A designated area for gift wrapping, crafting, and gift storage, so everything has its place.

Phase 1 complete!  My first bookshelf is organized by gift wrapping and crafting supplies.  I can’t believe the transformation.  Seeing my gift wrapping and crafting station so neatly organized and decluttered already brings a sense of peace. It's visually appealing and the newfound order makes me excited to dive into projects again!

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed or uninspired in your space, this is your sign to make a change! Start small—clear a surface, organize a drawer, or create a designated space for something meaningful.

I’ll be sharing updates as I continue this journey, so stay tuned for Part 2!
